  • User Profile: Information you input into the extension (e.g., your portfolio links, skills, resume details) is stored locally on your device.
  • Generated Content: The cover letters generated by the extension are stored locally to provide history functionality.

We do not transmit your API keys or profile data to our servers.

We may collect anonymous usage data to help us improve the extension. This includes:

  • Extension installation and uninstallation events.
  • Error logs to help us fix bugs.
  • Frequency of feature usage (e.g., "Generate button clicked").

The text content you select on job platforms (e.g., job descriptions) and your profile context are processed as follows:

  • They are sent directly from your browser to the AI Provider you have selected (e.g., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic) using your personal API key.
  • This data transmission occurs directly between your browser and the AI provider. Proposa's servers do not act as a middleman for this content generation.
